The department seeks an individual with the credentials to teach undergraduate courses in recreation and sport management; specifically, leisure, recreation and wellness, recreation for people with disabilities, sport analytics, and fiscal management. Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach. Coastal Carolina University enrolls over 10,800 students from 49 states and 55 nations. A master’s degree in recreation management, sport management or highly related area is required, with at least 18 graduate credits in recreation management and/or sport management.
