The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in educating and mentoring students in clinical settings, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their healthcare careers. This position requires a strong background in medical terminology, physiology, and acute care practices, as well as the ability to supervise and guide students effectively. This position would oversee two part-time CMA Programs throughout the week!
The schedule is as follows:
Monday 8am-4pm Tuesday 3pm-9pm Wednesday 8am-4pm Thursday 3pm-9pm Duties Provide hands-on instruction and supervision to students in clinical environments. Develop and implement educational programs that align with current healthcare standards. Review documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct assessments of student performance and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the educational experience. Stay updated on advancements in public health, critical care, and laboratory practices. Promote a safe learning environment while addressing any issues that arise during clinical training. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology. Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred. Familiarity with public health principles and laboratory procedures is a plus. Proven ability to supervise and mentor students effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to review documentation meticulously for accuracy and compliance. Understanding of animal physiology may be beneficial for specific programs.
