Seneca Middle School Description Student Success Interventionist:
this position will work directly with students and in partnership with the administrative team and/or school counselors at Seneca Middle School to monitor and administer success plans with select group of students 6th through 8th. Responsibilities Assist with the success plans for students (behaviorally, academically, and/or socially). Assist in the monitoring of students in all classroom situations: large group, small group, classroom, and during transitions. Assist in the monitoring of goal setting strategies with students associated with intervention plans. Communicate such plans and/or progress of plans to necessary stakeholders. Perform such other tasks as may be assigned. Experience/Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 60 hours college credit or passing score on paraprofessional test; 2 year degree preferred. Must have ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Must be able to handle, in a calm, intelligent manner, any unexpected situation that may occur. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to work with minimum supervision. Must have ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have computer skills using Windows-based programs. Salary Range School Aide 2 (Non-degreed) or School Aide 3 (degreed): Salary Ranges from $13.91 to $20.30 (Non-degreed) and $14.21 to $21.89 (Degreed) per hour for 180 days per year
