JOB SUMMARY

Teaching Assistants for the CPO Summer programs support the successful delivery and execution of our high school residential summer workshops and experiences. Employees will provide crucial administrative support to coordinate various tasks, assist with the planning, implementing, and evaluating our programs and projects, and help with specific requests and requirements. The assistants allow the curriculum instructors to deliver educational and developmental workshops and experiences to high school youth. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supervise students during instruction sessions. Respond to specific requests and requirements from staff and students. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Help troubleshoot issues and provide problem-solving support during program activities. 10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:

A high school diploma

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience:

1+ years At least 1 year experience with youth

INFORMATION

Expected hourly rate: $13.50 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson’s compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
