Dual Role – Program Assistant / Driver (Adult Day Center) Daily Pay Available |

Part-Time Location:

At Active Day, we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in a flexible dual role as a Program Assistant / Driver – where no two days are the same and your impact is always meaningful .

Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:

Safely transport members to and from our centers, medical appointments, and community outings Push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds Assist members with mobility devices and secure wheelchairs or walkers Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle Follow DOT and safety regulations; communicate respectfully with caregivers and center staff Program Assistant /

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist members with personal care including hygiene, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility Lead and support recreational activities, games, music, and social programs Serve and assist with meals and snacks Create a warm, welcoming environment that encourages member participation Monitor member wellbeing and follow safety and care protocols

Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred, not required) At least 21 years old Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, drug screening, and MVR review Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and assist members in/out of vehicles Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend for extended periods

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in any of the following roles: Healthcare, senior care, or adult day centers Transportation or shuttle driving for seniors or special needs CNA, PCA, or caregiving roles Recreation or activity planning Knowledge of local routes, GPS navigation, and basic vehicle maintenance #INDAD50
