GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an instructional position performed under the immediate direction of the classroom Lead Teacher. Duties involve assisting the Lead Teacher in planning, coordinating, and executing a program of instruction for an assigned group of preschool children, which could include children with disabilities. Important aspects of the work include having a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and the coordination of volunteers and others engaged in classroom and related activities. QUALIFICATIONS
: Must have CDA credential with preschool endorsement, AA or BS in Early Childhood Education or enrolled in a program leading to a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education. Must be 21 to work in a Pre-K classroom. A current physical, TB Screening or chest X-Ray, background ck, & drug test are required prior to working with children.
