Administrator Primary Purpose:

This person will be a 1-on-1 assistant for a specific student in the school. To help classroom teachers in the overall education of students. To help establish and maintain an intimate and encouraging classroom environment which honors the students as individuals, values their diverse learning styles, and fosters their growth.

Qualifications:

Be passionate about educating students with learning differences. Believe all students have the potential to learn. Be willing to try a variety of methods to help students learn in a manner that best suits their learning style. Possess at least a high school diploma. Be willing to actively participate with students in recess and other areas.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Supervision Work directly with a specific student to help him/her assimilate to The Edison School. Communication Speak positively about the school to students, parents, prospective families, and other teachers. Maintain good public relations – represent the school in a favorable and professional manner. Professional and Personal Qualities Uphold and enforce school policies, procedures, rules, administrative regulations, and support the overall mission and purpose of the school. Maintain personal appearance in a professionally appropriate manner.
