This is a split shift job position . Hours are 7:45-12:30 and 2:30-5:00 Monday through Friday. The assistant teacher is responsible for daily care of preschool children including supervision, aiding with curriculum, teaching kindergarten readiness skills, snack and lunch times, play times, and other responsibilities as needed. We expect to give the best quality care in Hixson and are look for someone to help us achieve that in our preschool room. New hires are expected to pass a background check, undergo fingerprinting, and must complete new hire orientation and training. Must be a high school graduate and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a toddler or preschool classroom is preferred.
