JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Para-Professional is an in-office role that is a key member of the finance team,pleting challenging special projects and providing professional support to a fast-paced corporate finance department, using and maintaining several different systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work independently toplete assigned tasks
Responsible for scling and project management
Perform minimal office duties, including maintenance of electronic files and processing correspondence
Serve as a point of contact and liaise with other departments
Interact with all levels of management within TeamHealth and its affiliates, including outside business associates, consultants and government representatives
Support department by responding to information requests. Prepare purchase requisitions and check requests for payments and vendor invoices
Maintain confidentiality of TeamHealth office activities
Complete an extensive variety of special projects as needed
Update databases, and other tasks as assigned by department

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

3 – 5 years of professional work experience
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Flexibility to handle administrative and department task-based assignments
Excellentanizational and time management skills
Excellentmunication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellentputer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database management, inte, e-mail)
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to support multiple persons with minimal direction/supervision
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
May require occasional seasonal overtime

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting
Moderate stress
Prolonged sitting and prolonged work at aputer/PC This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of theputer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards toply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular scle and/or more than five days per week.
