TCAT Oneida – Huntsville Campus Job Summary The Academic/Student Support Associate is a full-time position. This position is responsible for all records management of student information and academic records (transcripts, grade reports, attendance reports, etc.) using the College’s student information system. This position will work closely with the Student Services Coordinator and all instructors. Job Duties Maintain student information and academic records (transcripts, grade reports, attendance reports, etc.) using the College’s student information system.
Reconcile all student grades and hours information for accuracy
Compile and submit enrollment reports and other reports related to student academic records
Maintain student waiting lists and communicate with applicants regarding the enrollment process
Collect immunization and other records required for enrollment
Prepare and oversee all Cooperative Work Experience Program documentation
Assist with student registration
Prepare and send promotional information to prospective students and agencies as requested
Update and maintain supply of all enrollment forms and program information
Maintain entrance exam schedules and score reports
Prepare files and other documentation for storage pursuant to Records Disposal policies
Maintain student and staff information in emergency notification system
Assist with coordination of schoolwide meetings and events to include food pickup, room setup, preparation of supporting materials, etc.
Answer telephone and perform clerical duties
Work after-hours for scheduled school events and travel to meetings (some overnight) as needed Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma Two to four years of related work experience Computer Skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree or Diploma in a related field of study Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Computer skills using Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) Familiarity with multiline telephone systems Keyboarding skills with accuracy and reasonable speed Ability to direct the flow of a considerable volume of detailed work Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience or ability to learn job-specific, specialized software applications
