Assistant Daycare Teacher Mt. Juliet Children’s Academy 214 West Division Street, Mount Juliet, TN 37122 Mt. Juliet Children’s Academy is now hiring! We are seeking compassionate and dedicated educators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with infants, toddlers and young children, promoting their development through educational activities, and ensuring their well-being. A strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to manage diverse needs are essential.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and growth. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort. Foster a positive & Christ centered environment that encourages social interaction, creativity, and exploration. Monitor children’s behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to support children with special needs or disabilities. Conduct first aid procedures when necessary and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience :
Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable. Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to educate children effectively.
