Job Description
Special Education Paraeducators (5) Mt. Mansfield UUSD Jericho, VT 05465 Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking full or part time special education paraeducators for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning late August 2025. Paraeducators are responsible for supporting students, special educators and classroom teachers within the regular school setting. The position involves performing a variety of supportive activities with a diverse population of students. Qualified candidates should enjoy working with and engaging with students, have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Candidates must be reliable, have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods of time to support students.
Other responsibilities include:
assisting with implementing modifications, accommodations and services; work with students to reinforce learning of material and skills introduced by the teacher; assist in data collection; and have fun helping students recognize their true potential.
