Pre-K Paraeducator Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union 78 Poor Farm Road, Sheldon, VT 05483 The Sheldon Elementary School is seeking a Pre-K Paraeducator for the 2025-2026 school year.

Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union’s Early Education Team is seeking a classroom paraeducator who enjoy working with 3, 4 and 5-year-olds. During the day, you will engage with children in their play and in teacher led activities such as morning meetings and small group projects. You will assist the teacher with the day-to-day tasks of an early ed classroom. We are seeking someone who is collaborative, flexible, and energetic! A background in early childhood or child development is preferred, but there is training for the right person. While primarily at Sheldon, this position may be shared with another preschool program at a nearby school. Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union (FNESU) is a Pre-K-12 system comprised of 6 rural towns in Northern Vermont; Bakersfield, Berkshire, Enosburg, Montgomery, Richford and Sheldon. FNESU consists of six Elementary Schools, two Middle Schools, two High Schools, and one Technical Career Center. FNESU serves approximately 1,950 students within our six towns. FNESU is situated in rural northwestern Vermont, which is the perfect setting for outdoor enthusiasts. We are located just 20 miles from Jay Peak Resort, 32 miles from Smuggler’s Notch, and within driving distance to several other surrounding ski resorts. There are plenty of areas to hike, swim, cross-country ski, snowmobile, and mountain bike. We are an hour away from Burlington and just an hour and a half from Montreal.
