Paraeducator, Grades 4-6, Eden Central School 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Eden, VT 05652 Eden Central School is seeking a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners.
The ideal candidate will:
- Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teachers.
- Assist in supporting learners Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator
- Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom
- Work with other professionals, such as speech therapist, student support,occupational and physical therapists to support learners.
- Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual
- Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needsIn Addition, the ideal candidate will:
- Participate in all professional learning opportunities as designated
- Perform all duties as assigned
- Enjoy and collaborate within a learner-centered team environment.
