Paraeducator – Lamoille Union Middle School 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 736 VT Route 15 West, Hyde Park, VT 05655 Lamoille Union Middle School is searching for a Special Education Paraeducator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teacher
- Assist in supporting learners’ Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator
- Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom-size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom
- Work with other professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.
- Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual
- Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needsIn Addition, the ideal candidate will:
- Participate in professional learning opportunities as designated
- Perform all duties as assigned
