Job Description
We are looking for a team
- and child-oriented individual that has experience working with children, but we are willing to train the right individual. The current opening requires several key attributes:
- The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- A high degree of flexibility: needs change rapidly in our school from day-to-day, and a flexible attitude and approach are necessary as the role and assignment is likely to vary.
- Academic support: the successful candidate will be willing and able to provide small group and/or 1:1 support for students with learning disabilities.
This will occur within the framework of a whole-school team approach that follows specific protocols developed through a curriculum mapping process..
This position is full time, school session. CPI certification is preferred, but training will be provided if needed.
Candidates must meet North Country Supervisory Union requirements:
- Have a minimum of 48 college credits or a paraeducator certificate and portfolio
- Have successfully passed the ParaPro or Master Teacher Test.
Coventry Village School offers both competitive wages and benefits to its employees. Hourly rate will vary between $17.50/hour and $20.00/hour depending on education and experience.
