Program Director/Site Coordinator Job Summary:

This role involves offering tailored individual and group instruction to students participating in the 21st CCLC program. Additionally, it includes tracking student’s progress and applying the curriculum according to their needs. The teacher or instructor will also manage benchmark assessments and progress monitoring data, sharing these results with parents and the site coordinator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Site Coordinator, Program Director, and teachers in implementing 21st CCLC activities that enhance student learning and engagement. Provide academic support through homework assistance, small group instruction and one-on-one interventions in reading and math. Supervise students to ensure a safe, structured, and student-centered environment while promoting participation in enrichment activities. Assist with daily program operations, including attendance tracking, student transitions, and classroom setup/cleanup. Help manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and conflict-resolution strategies. Maintain an organized and engaging learning space, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials. Performs clerical tasks such as record-keeping, organizing instructional materials, and assisting with documentation. Support family engagement by preparing parent communications and participating in events and workshops. Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to foster collaboration. Attend meetings and professional development to support continuous program improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the program.

Qualifications:

At least two years of college-level education. Knowledge and understanding of academic and behavioral strategies and techniques to assist students in learning. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Desired Associate or Bachelors Degree Work experience related to grant program/proposals.

Term of Employment:

Salary and benefits in accordance with a compensation program recommended by the administration and approved by the Midfield Board of Education. Funding is provided through the 21st Century Grant and will be reviewed on a yearly basis. This position is a non-tenure track position.
