What You’ll Do:

As a Tutor, you’ll play a crucial role in our afterschool academic support program by helping students understand challenging material, complete assignments, and prepare for exams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions Reviewing and reinforcing classroom topics and curriculum Assisting with homework, projects, test prep, and research papers Teaching academic skills such as note-taking, studying, and test strategies Creating and distributing supplemental learning materials Monitoring progress through practice tests and goal setting Providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and educators Maintaining accurate attendance and student records Assisting in volunteer recruitment for program support

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related academic field Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations Proficiency in Microsoft Word and virtual learning tools Comfort with offering services both in-person and virtually

Preferred Qualifications:

18+ graduate credit hours in your subject area Experience with platforms like Blackboard and library databases Certification from a recognized tutoring association is a plus Apply Today!
