Merritt Island, FL 32952 Firefly Tutors is hiring a Math Tutor for middle school students! This is a year-round position for the 24/25 school year and beyond!

IN-HOME/IN-PERSON

tutoring ONLY Math Tutor for middle school students needed in Merritt Island FL, 32952 and surrounding areas (IN-PERSON ONLY)

MUST BE AVAILABLE

to provide in-person tutoring throughout the week Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: Bachelor’s degree or above Engaging, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in math instruction for middle school students At least 1-2 years of experience working with students with some experience working with special needs students Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals. Implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate relevant curriculum and learning technology. Manage session dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Collaborate with parents and educators to support students, particularly those with special education needs. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Foster a supportive atmosphere for both children and adults in educational settings.
