Spanish Oak Point, Davie, FL 33328 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated tutor /Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to support their development and learning. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in meaningful activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Assist with homework and educational tasks, utilizing effective lesson planning techniques. Provide support for children with special needs or learning challenges, applying knowledge of special education practices. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including preparing meals and snacks as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities. Foster a positive relationship with children, encouraging social skills and emotional growth. Experience Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred. Familiarity with preschool education principles and classroom management techniques is a plus. Knowledge of learning technology that can enhance children’s educational experiences is beneficial. Experience in curriculum development or lesson planning is an asset. A background in adult education may be advantageous for engaging parents in their child’s development. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
