Job Duties:

Ignite young minds in Kindergarten to Grade 8 with personalized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions. Craft tailored lesson plans to tackle each student’s unique learning journey. Make math and reading come alive through interactive teaching and hands-on activities. Keep a close eye on progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents. Be the guiding light for homework and test prep. Sprinkle in creativity using a variety of resources•from textbooks to educational games.

Other Duties:

In the absence of students, assist the team in answering phone calls, creating activities, filing, grading, organizing, and help the director as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience•preferred, but passion for teaching children is a must. Dive deep into math•strong knowledge and expertise are key. Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a big plus. Weave complex concepts into clear, concise explanations with excellent communication skills. Embrace patience and adaptability to cater to each student’s unique learning style. Juggle it all with strong organizational skills.
