ADULT IN HOME TUTORING- MANDARIN
Grade Potential Tutoring Jacksonville, FL 32205 We have an immediate need for an in-home Pre-K Mandarin tutor in Jacksonville. The student is in pre-K and his parents would like him to learn Mandarin.
He is performing well academically, independently spelling and writing his name, and showing progress in schoolwork. He completes assignments effectively, recognizes some sight words in English, and has basic computer skills. He is reserved in class, often hesitant to respond, and may seem self-conscious during discussions. He has no experience with Mandarin, but his parents wish to introduce him to the language.
The family wants him to build strong confidence in his abilities, actively engage in his work, and show consistent progress, aiming to advance beyond his current grade. They encourage him to take pride in his skills and approach learning with confidence and enthusiasm. They also hope he becomes proficient in multiple languages, eventually fluent in Mandarin.
The parents wants 1-2 hour sessions once per week. They are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12PM-2PM and 4PM-7PM. Job Requirements Tutor must be willing to work at the students’ home in Jacksonville near Big Fishwier Creek. Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week. Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles) Student Availability Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12PM-2PM and 4PM-7PM.
