The students are requesting a tutor who is fluent in both Spanish & English. The students are young adult native Spanish speakers who want to work with a tutor for assistance in learning English as a second language. They would benefit from working with a bilingual tutor who can immerse them into a consistent exposure to the language, which includes vocabulary and pronunciation, spelling and grammar, and reading and writing comprehension. The goal is to provide some ongoing support over the next 6 months with achieving a comfort and proficiency in casual (and professional) English conversation. The students want 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 2pm-5pm, on Tuesday and Thursday. Because these young adults are not taking a formal class, they have requested that the tutor make a recommendation of materials and resources with which they can work, not only during the tutoring sessions, but outside the sessions for ongoing practice. Job Requirements Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student’s home in Cape Coral near the Gulf Coast Village retirement community and Hunter’s Run Golf Club. Tutor must be bilingual in Spanish & English. Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 2pm-5pm, on Tuesday and Thursday.
