Amigos Tutoring Amigos Tutoring is hiring a Math and/or Reading Tutor at our Coral Gables location , where we primarily work with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade . Role:

Tutor students in small, semi-private sessions (1 to 4 students per session, 1 hour each). Responsible for opening, closing, and managing the location independently (after completing training). Must be comfortable working with small children , practicing classroom management , setting clear expectations , motivating students , and being empathetic and understanding . Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized tutoring space. Curriculum, worksheets, and homework are pre-built —your role is to facilitate the tutoring process. Communicate professionally with students and parents as needed.

Training:

✅ You will receive about two weeks of shadowing and training before managing the location independently.

Requirements:

✅ Must be fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) — do not apply if you are not bilingual . ✅ Open to juniors or seniors in high school , or college students with prior professional tutoring experience . ✅ This role is NOT for teachers, certified educators, or college professors . ✅ Must pass a proctored math and reading exam to qualify for the position. ✅ Must be available to work weekdays from 2:45 PM to 8:15 PM (no exceptions). ✅ Not a summer-only position —we require a 1-year commitment .
