Amigos Tutoring Amigos Tutoring is hiring a Math and/or Reading Tutor at our Homestead location . We specialize in K-12 tutoring in both math and reading. If you’re bilingual in Spanish (reading and writing required) and looking to gain valuable experience while making a difference, we’d love to hear from you! About the

Role:

Tutor students in small, semi-private sessions (1 to 4 students per session, 1 hour each). Responsible for opening and closing the location . Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the tutoring space. Curriculum, worksheets, and homework are pre-built —you will facilitate the tutoring process using these materials. Communicate professionally with students and parents as needed.

Requirements:

✅ Must be fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) — do not apply if you are not bilingual . ✅ Open to juniors or seniors in high school , or college students with prior professional tutoring experience . ✅ This role is NOT for teachers, certified educators, or college professors . ✅ Ideal for candidates looking for their first or second job and wanting to grow responsibility and skills. ✅ Must pass a proctored math and reading exam to qualify for the position. ✅ Must be available to work weekdays from 2:45 PM to 8:15 PM (no exceptions). ✅ Not a summer-only position —we require a 1-year commitment .
