Amigos Tutoring Amigos Tutoring is hiring a Math and/or Reading Tutor at our North Miami Beach location , where we primarily work with Kindergarten through 5th grade students . Role:

Tutor students in small, semi-private sessions (1 to 4 students per session, 1 hour each). Responsible for opening, closing, and independently managing the location after training. Must be patient, empathetic, and understanding , as many of our students are still developing foundational learning skills. Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment . Curriculum, worksheets, and homework are pre-built —your role is to facilitate learning and guide students through the materials. Professional communication with students, parents, and team members is expected.

Language Skills:

✅ Spanish is highly recommended , as many of our students and families speak Spanish. ✅ If you speak Creole , that is also a plus and can be very beneficial in this community.

Training and Schedule:

✅ Immediate hire —we are looking for someone to start onboarding right away . ✅ Includes two weeks of paid training/shadowing , followed by working directly with students. ✅ Must be available to work weekdays from 2:45 PM to 8:15 PM .

Requirements:

✅ Open to juniors or seniors in high school , or college freshmen (this is a great role for students looking to gain experience). ✅ Must pass a proctored math and reading exam to qualify. ✅ Must commit to a 1-year contract (this is not a summer-only job ). ✅ This role is NOT for teachers, certified educators, or college professors .
