Tutor/Proctor 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Palmetto Bay, FL 33157 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tutor/Proctor to join our educational team. The Tutor/Proctor will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment for students of various age groups. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining academic integrity while providing support and guidance to students during assignments. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, particularly in classroom management and tutoring, and possess a passion for helping students succeed. Duties Supervise students to ensure compliance with academy’s protocols. Prepare the testing environment by setting up materials and ensuring all necessary equipment is functioning. Monitor student behavior and address any issues that may arise during the day. Provide assistance to students as needed, including clarifying instructions or addressing concerns. Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during the day. Collaborate with educators to understand curriculum requirements and assist in lesson planning when necessary. Support the development of educational materials that enhance the learning experience for students. Requirements Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills to effectively supervise students. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with parents, students, and staff. Ability to educate and support diverse learners. Previous tutoring experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to assist students in understanding material. Ability to meet deadlines.
