Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Provide instructional math tutoring for basic concepts, specific problems, homework, and test preparation
Support students in the effective use of textbooks and instructional resources
Offer encouragement and personal academic support
Work toward completing CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Level 1 tutor training throughout the semester Shift Specifics Up to 20 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Successful completion of

MATH 1441

(Calculus I) and

MATH 2242

(Calculus II) or equivalent courses with a grade of “B” or better
Proposed Salary $14.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
