The tutor will work closely with students to identify areas where they need assistance and develop personalized learning plans to help them achieve academic success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide academic support in a variety of subjects, including math, science, ELA/reading, social studies, and study skills at a designated RCSS school site or partnership locations. Develop personalized learning plans for each student based on their individual needs and learning styles Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic success Communicate regularly with parents and teachers to provide updates on student progress and identify areas for improvement Maintain accurate records of student progress and tutor sessions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher Availability from Monday-Friday (2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.) Strong knowledge of elementary and/or middle school curriculum/standards and teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills If you are passionate about education and enjoy working with students to help them achieve their academic goals, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
