Position Summary Infinitus Texas is seeking a skilled and passionate Math Tutor to support K-8 students in developing foundational and advanced math skills. This is a hybrid role requiring both in-person tutoring at locations in Gonzales, LA and virtual sessions conducted online. The ideal candidate will be committed to educational equity and able to deliver engaging, customized instruction to diverse learners. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality math tutoring for students in grades K-8, both in-person and online. Assess student learning needs and tailor lessons to individual strengths and challenges. Use a variety of strategies and tools aligned with state standards and common core math curricula. Monitor and track student progress using assessments and observation. Communicate regularly with students, families, and program coordinators to report progress and address concerns. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, attendance, and learning outcomes. Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (required). Prior experience tutoring or teaching math at the elementary or middle school level preferred. Strong understanding of grade-level math standards and best instructional practices. Ability to manage virtual and in-person learning environments effectively. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Tech-savvy with a reliable internet connection and access to a device for remote tutoring. Additional Requirements Background check and fingerprinting required.
