• ELA (English Language Arts) Tutor
• to work one-on-one with an 8-year-old 3rd grader. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a patient demeanor, and the ability to create engaging lessons tailored to the student’s needs.

• Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring sessions focused on 3rd-grade ELA skills, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development.
• Help build confidence in reading fluency and understanding.
• Assist with homework assignments and test preparation as needed.
• Incorporate fun, interactive activities to keep the student engaged.
• Track progress and provide feedback to parents.

• Requirements:

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged children, specifically in ELA.
• Strong understanding of 3rd-grade curriculum and standards.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to develop creative and individualized lesson plans.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or equivalent experience.
