Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Math & Literacy Intervention Tutor to work in-person with students ages 6-12 in Milton, MA , beginning in Fall 2026 . The tutor will provide targeted support in both math and reading/writing , helping students build foundational skills and close learning gaps.

Schedule:

Preferred hours: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM 3 days per week (flexible on which days)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one or small group instruction in math and reading/writing Implement intervention strategies based on student needs and progress Use a variety of teaching tools and techniques to engage young learners Track and document student progress and share updates with stakeholders Collaborate with school staff and Einstein Tutoring coordinators to ensure instructional alignment Foster a supportive, positive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

Experience working with students in grades 1-6 (ages 6-12) Strong background in elementary math and literacy instruction Familiarity with academic intervention strategies and data-driven instruction Ability to engage students and differentiate instruction based on individual learning styles Reliable, professional, and punctual Bachelor’s degree preferred (education or related field a plus)

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications.
