Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Elementary Academic Tutor (for summer•up to ten hours/week) to provide targeted academic support in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math to an elementary student, with a specific focus on Grade 5 curriculum standards. The tutor will work one-on-one with the student to reinforce foundational skills, close learning gaps, and build confidence in core academic areas.
Provide individualized instruction in ELA and Math aligned with Grade 5 standards.
Develop and implement engaging lessons and activities tailored to the student’s academic needs.
Monitor progress and adjust instruction based on student performance and learning goals.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth and motivation.
