QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalency, have an Associates Degree or higher, or at least 48 college level semester credits to qualify. Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children. Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions. Must hold a valid NC Driver’s License and be able to acquire a CDL license upon request.

Legible copy of a college transcript showing either degree awarded or at least 48+ college level semester credits completed (prerequisite courses will not be counted).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports classroom reading and mathematics instruction. Conducts learning exercises with individuals and small groups of students. Maintains required records (student progress, assessment results, tutoring hours, etc) Follow a daily structured academic schedule. Serves as team player and role model for other employees in the organization; demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality improvement; supports and exhibits organizational core values of caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, being customer driven, and valuing fairness. Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders. Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
