Full Job Description Duties:

MUST BE BILINGUAL

• SPANISH

SPEAKING/ INTERPRETING IS REQUIRED!

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects or areas of study
• Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians on their child’s academic performance
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning
• Collaborate with classroom teachers or other educators to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum and goals
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or learning disabilities
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student attendance, progress, and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in educational setting
• Strong knowledge and understanding of education principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and other educators
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain a productive and organized learning environment
• Experience working with students with special education needs or disabilities is a plus
• A degree in education or a related field is preferred, but not required
