This position requires that the instructor must live in or near Greensboro to be available for in-person classes on the campus of UNCG. Instruction Teach 1 or 2 academic English courses, 10 -20 teaching hours per week Preparation and planning for teaching project-based courses Observation and documentation of student progress with regular feedback to students Conference with students in week 3 to provide formative assessment, provide week 3 and final reports to students Informal student support and relationship-building Utilize Google Suite and Canvas to enhance in-person instruction Training and Collaboration Active engagement in being mentored for the first year of employment Participation in internal professional development, weekly faculty meetings, Focus Days training, and other scheduled meetings as needed Participation in post observation and feedback and course evaluation debriefings Cultivation of one’s own curiosity as it pertains to professional growth and personal satisfaction Program Support and Administration Attend student activities Assist with student orientation Completion of “admin checklist” at the end of each term Assist with placement testing as needed Maintain a professional and tidy office space for students and visitors to the program Other duties as needed to assist with recruitment or to provide student services

Requirements:
