The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language arts and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves assessing and tutoring students through engaging lessons, promoting literacy, and enhancing their writing skills. Duties Teach English language arts concepts, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. Create a supportive environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for literature. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback through session notes. Provide tutoring and additional support to students who may need extra assistance in mastering language skills. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; prior teaching or tutoring experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively. A background in childcare or experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is a plus.
