Essential Job Functions Tutors students on specific course content, course-related readings and course-related written assignments Tutors students in the area of academic success skills (e.g. learning strategies, time management, etc.) Coordinates tutoring goals with advisers, academic counselors and faculty to effectively meet student needs Attends tutor training sessions and staff meetings, as applicable Administers individualized tests to students with accommodations Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree Ability to facilitate tutoring sessions in individual, small group, and classroom settings Preferred Qualifications Ability to manage a schedule that includes scheduled appointments and walk-ins Experience tutoring college-level basic math, algebra, statistics, biostatistics, pre-calculus, and calculus
