Pay:
$35-$50 per hour (based on experience) Cantey Foundation Specialists is seeking a dedicated and engaging bilingual (Spanish/English) instructor to help our employees improve their English speaking, reading, and comprehension skills. This part-time weekend role is ideal for someone who is passionate about adult education, understands the challenges of learning a second language, and wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Teach English to a group of adult Spanish-speaking employees with a focus on practical, workplace-relevant communication. Tailor lessons to meet varying levels of English proficiency. Create a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback. Communicate with management about employee development and needs.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) or similar language instruction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Preferred:
ESL certification or relevant education/training. Experience working with adult learners in a workplace or vocational setting. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
