Chinese Language Tutor Boost Learning, LLC Saddle River, NJ 07458 About us Boost Learning’s model is to provide direct instruction in a personalized, engaging, and goal-oriented way. We are looking for instructors who can be creative in the ways they provide direct instruction, and continually seek ways to help students grow in confidence and develop a love for learning. www.boostlearningnj.com Seeking teachers who are strong in Chinese language instruction to provide tutoring services to a beginner. Must be comfortable with Chinese language curriculum. Great for teachers looking for a couple extra hours of work (average 1-2hrs/wk). Tutors will be independent contractors and work capacity is based tutor’s own availability. We match families with instructors according to “best fit.” All tutors are expected to carry out the Boost Learning philosophies and practices.
Required:
Background checked.
Required:
At least 3+ years of tutoring/working with children. Strong understanding of grade level standards and providing differentiated instruction.

Part-time, Contract Base rate: $35+ for non-certified teachers. $40.00+ for certified teachers.

- Provide personalized tutoring sessions to students in core subjects.
- Assess students’ learning needs and develop customized lesson plans to address their specific areas of improvement.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.
- Monitor student progress and write session summaries pertaining to student goals and updates.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons and manage time
- Incorporate and research a variety of resources when hosting sessions.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
