This role focuses on building foundational academic skills, fostering independence, and enhancing life skills in a supportive, engaging environment tailored to the individual’s unique needs.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with adults or children with intellectual or developmental disabilities Background in special education, psychology, social work, or related fields (preferred but not required) Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping others grow Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a private home setting CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain Clear background check and references required

Additional Details:

Tutoring sessions will take place in the family’s home located in Alpine, NJ. Flexible schedule; approximately 6-8 hours per week Long-term commitment preferred
