Spanish Tutor – Early College Level – Hybrid Testive Park Slope, NY 11215 Overview We are seeking a reliable and engaging Spanish Tutor to provide hybrid (in-person and virtual) tutoring for a student needing support in early college-level Spanish . The ideal candidate will have strong language proficiency and prior experience tutoring or teaching Spanish at the high school AP or introductory college level. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to the student’s current curriculum and language goals. Support reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills with a focus on comprehension and retention. Assist with homework, exam prep, grammar, and conversational practice. Track progress and adapt sessions to meet evolving needs. Conduct in-person sessions in Park Slope on Wednesdays after 5:00 PM . Lead virtual sessions on Saturday mornings via Zoom or a preferred platform. Qualifications Native or near-native Spanish fluency. Experience tutoring or teaching Spanish at the high school or early college level. Strong communication and organizational skills. Patience, creativity, and a supportive teaching style. Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Preferred:

Background in education, Spanish, or a related field. Familiarity with common college-level Spanish textbooks and curricula. Local to Brooklyn or able to commute easily to Park Slope.
