Qualifications:

Outstanding academic achievement as evidenced by GPA Outstanding achievement in aural skills and music theory courses Formal or informal experience teaching/tutoring music theory required; formal work experience tutoring fundamentals of music theory in the IC Center for Music preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to work during posted hours Required strong experience with music technology, including facility with Canvas, Microsoft 365, Audacity, Spotify, and MuseScore Personal qualities conducive to one-on-one conferences, such as a friendly, approachable manner; patience; good listening abilities; and a sense of maturity and responsibility A completed application will include a resume and a brief cover letter indicating your interest and any prior teaching/tutoring experiences.
