JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count Federal Work-Study Program (NLR/NLC) is seeking applicants to join our program for the Spring 2025 Semester to work with the State College Area School District Elementary Schools’ after-school programs – C.E.E.L. NLR/NLC students assist and support the after-school program’s teachers, engage directly with the children, and provide one-on-one and/or small-group instruction/support in one of the local elementary schools. Specific placement location determined at hire. Positions are available M-F, 2:30-6:00 pm. Applicants should be willing to commit to MWF or TR weekly. Hourly rates for NLR/NLC participants begin at $16/hour. This job will require the following publicly available clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
