Biological Sciences Tutor 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Beaufort County, SC Job Responsibilities Job Purpose To provide academic assistance to students in order to improve students’ skills in the designated tutoring subject area. Student assistance may occur one-on-one or in small groups in the Tutoring Center or other designated location, including online via Zoom. Job Functions 1.Working under the guidance and direction of the Director for Tutoring Services, conduct tutorial sessions as determined by the needs of the student. 2.Maintain familiarity with and skill in the content areas of current courses offered at the college. 3.Maintain timely submission of contracts, bi-weekly time sheets, daily records, etc. Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, convocations, etc. as requested. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field of assignment OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities, have been achieved.
