$30/hour General Statement of Job
Under limited supervision, develops, coordinates and implements specialized programs and processes (instructional technology, recruiting, staff development, curriculum and instruction, etc.). Provides assistance to assigned schools, ensures completion of required reports, and coordinates program logistics. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Coordinates instructional, cultural, fiscal and parental components of specialized programs, enforcing policies and regulations as established by the School Board, OCR and professional staff. Coordinates programs in specialized field of endeavor. Develops and implements teacher and staff in-service training. Collects and compiles data for program evaluation. Conducts orientation sessions for students and parents. Confers with parents, students, teachers, principals and other personnel to identify program and student problems and to plan corrective courses of action. Conducts classroom observations and provides teachers with feedback. Interprets applicable laws and program guidelines to District personnel, parents, students and the public as required. Evaluates program effectiveness and makes changes as necessary to achieve maximum success. Organizes parent committees. Plans conferences and workshops, including programming and logistics. Keeps abreast of developments and innovations in the profession. Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits various records and reports including professional studies, policies and procedures, curriculum plans and guide, assessment plans and documents, invoices, requisitions, budget documents, grant applications, newsletter, memos, correspondence, etc. Complies with all federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, administrative rules, and directives.

Additional Duties:

Performs related duties as required. Minimum Education and Training
Requires a Master’s degree in the area of Coordinator specialty supplemented by three years of related teaching experience and program development, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess valid teacher’s certification.
