Professional Math & Science Tutor

• In Person Position, Grades 7-12 The Lazar Center Tega Cay, SC 29708 Lazar Tutoring & Test Prep is currently hiring several Professional High School Tutors to join our team across three locations.

At Lazar, we believe in empowering students to excel academically. With locations in Charlotte, Tega Cay, and Fort Mill, we provide a supportive and engaging environment where students thrive. As a tutor, you will:

• Teach and mentor high school students in math and science courses (such as Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, PreCalculus, Biology, Physics, and/or Chemistry)
• Deliver personalized lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles
• Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive sessions

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for education and a desire to make a difference
• Strong proficiency in high school-level math and science courses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience required
• Availability is required at least two days each week, on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, from 3 pm to 8 pm; preference will be given to candidates available four days a week.

We are also open on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm as needed.
