Orton-Gillingham Certified Tutor for Rising 4th Grader (Dyslexia Support)
Location:
In-person (home-based setting)
Schedule:
3x/week this summer; potential for Monday-Friday during the school year
Start Date:
ASAP Pay:
$25-30/Hr. We’re seeking a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor to support a rising 4th grader who needs structured, engaging instruction to strengthen reading and language skills. The student is bright, active, and benefits most from a tutor who is confident, dynamic, and builds real rapport.
Who You Are:
Certified in Orton-Gillingham or similar structured literacy approach Experienced working with students with Dyslexia and attention needs Patient, firm, and highly engaging—you know how to hold a student’s attention and command the room respectfully Creative in your instruction and willing to incorporate the student’s interests into learning
Student Interests:
Animals and wildlife Games and friendly competition Sports (especially baseball)
Schedule:
Summer:
3 sessions/week (flexible days/times)
Fall & Beyond:
