The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various subjects, particularly in Math, Geometry, Statistics, and Genetics. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and utilizing learning technology to enhance the educational experience. The Tutor will work closely with students to help them achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities. Responsibilities Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning needs. Provide instruction in subjects including Math, Geometry, Statistics, and Genetics. Utilize learning technology to facilitate interactive and effective learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging activities. Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate them into tutoring sessions. Requirements Strong knowledge of Math concepts including Geometry, Statistics, Discrete Math, and Genetics. Experience in lesson planning and classroom management. Familiarity with learning technology tools to enhance student engagement. Ability to work with preschool-aged children as well as older students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching are essential qualities for this role.
