Role Description This is a part-time in student home role for an Integrated Math Tutor, focused on Middle School students, once to twice a week. The Math Tutor will work with the student, using our unique approach to personalized tutoring to help them achieve their academic goals in math. The Math Tutor will be responsible for developing customized lesson plans, monitoring the student’s progress, and communicating with the student’s parents or guardians to ensure a positive learning experience. Qualifications
- Strong background in Mathematics, especially in algebra and geometry
- Experience with in-person and/or online tutoring
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to develop customized lesson plans based on a student’s unique learning style and needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field is preferred
- Experience tutoring middle school students is preferred This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with pay in the range of $20-25 per hour based on experience.
